As Terry Gossell, I owned an advertising agency for 25 years in Rockford, IL and Phoenix, AZ. I sat on the board of directors for the Northern Illinois Advertising Council for sixteen years, holding every office including two terms as president. During the last few years of my association with NIAC and the American Advertising Federation, I was fortunate and honored to have been included as a creative judge in several regional annual Addy competitions.

During my career I've received numerous regional and nation design awards. I'm proud to have been published in various editions of Marquis Who's Who including: Who's Who in the Midwest, Who's Who of American Women, Who's Who in Finance and Industry, Who's Who in Media and Communications, and Who's Who in the World.

When I moved to Phoenix for a second time in '98, I wrote business plans for the technology industry, was heavily involved in AzIPA (the AZ Internet Professionals Assoc.), co-founded BizDawgs (outsourcing the individual or combined talents of 30 executive-level professionals), and helped to bring a local chapter of First Tuesday to that area in 2000.

I moved to Tucson from Phoenix in 2001 and took a position with Intuit for a couple of years, then entered the direct marketing world as a senior copywriter for home products and women’s fashion catalogs until that position was eliminated in September of 2008.

Early in 2009 I discovered a Tucson Writers Workshop and Meetup Event group headed by Pablo Bley. Pablo is a self-proclaimed ‘Techno-vangalist’ as well as an incredible writer. Getting together with the creative group of writers that he has pulled together motivated me and, in February, I began work on my first novel: Through My Sister's Eyes. This paranormal nonfiction project has been incubating since my sister passed away, over 22 years ago. Please feel free to read the parts that are published on this site. I hope you enjoy reading it and I would love to have your input and comments.

I’m also a member of a unique group of talent known as The Southwest Authors Guild. (SwAG). www.southwestauthorsguild.com
